Today, Amazon announced that thousands of small businesses selling on Amazon will be participating in the second annual Prime Day on Tuesday, July 12. Prime Day deals from sellers and small businesses worldwide grew by more than 100 percent year-over-year. Sellers and entrepreneurs will offer thousands of deals worldwide on unique items from electronics to toys, household goods, and apparel. In the U.S., the number of sellers taking part in Prime Day grew by more than 100 percent year-over-year and the number of deals from small businesses, brand owners, and entrepreneurs in the U.S. grew by more than 100 percent year-over-year.

New PBS and Amazon Prime Agreement

Amazon and PBS Distribution announced that they have entered into a multi-year agreement that makes Amazon Prime Video the exclusive premium subscription streaming home for a broad collection of PBS KIDS series. Prime members in the U.S. can watch PBS KIDS episodes via the Amazon Video app for TVs, connected devices including Fire TV, mobile devices and online at www.amazon.com/primevideo. In addition to streaming, all episodes are also available to download for offline viewing on iPads, iPhones, Android phones and tablets and Fire tablets at no additional cost—meaning Prime members can enjoy PBS KIDS titles even when they don’t have an internet connection available.
