Gotta Joga Prenatal offers a set of 8 yoga classes and 27 postures dedicated for expecting mothers. Classes are suitable for pregnant women from 2nd trimester forward.
Prenatal yoga enables the moms-to-be to prepare for childbirth physically and mentally. It also provides precious time to connect with the baby and what's happening to the body from within. The meditative, breath centered yoga classes in the Gotta Joga prenatal app have been especially planned for mobile use, for pregnant women from second trimester onwards. It is perfect for their home yoga practice.
Maija Airas Ceri, the founder of Gotta Apps, started to do yoga when she was pregnant. "At that period, I was living in Germany, where our health insurance offers birth preparation courses lead by midwives. It turned out a big part of the course was based on yoga and breathing exercises. I wanted to offer that experience to other pregnant women too, preferably taught by a professional yoga teacher. When my yoga teacher Vanessa de Haas became pregnant with her second child, I suggested we collaborate for a prenatal yoga app."

Follow our yoga classes plan during your pregnancy:
Our yoga teacher Vanessa de Haas guides the user through 8 prenatal yoga classes following each other in a carefully planned sequence helping the users to gradually learn a longer prenatal yoga sequence. Starting with a short 6 minute class with "opening up" of the body, going through seated positions in "growing awareness," to standing and hip opening postures, learning meditation in the 5th "Calming Class" and ending with the 8th, a final 45 minute full practice.
Watch your yoga tree grow as you practice:
Following the growth of the Gotta Joga yoga tree accompanied by benefits of yoga for expecting mothers, the users have a symbolic way of following their progress. The yoga tree and last practice can be shared in social networks.
Learn each pose separately:
Release your back with a cat cow pose, or connect with your baby through relaxation. In the Learn Poses menu, the users can find all of the individual yoga poses and learn to practice them separately.

Vanessa de Haas is an American yoga teacher and a mother of 3 little girls, living in France. She is the owner of a vinyasa yoga studio O Yoga in Lyon, France. She spent time studying Ayurveda and yoga in Rishikish India where she became certified in Akanda yoga with Vishva Vishveketu as and is also certified in vinyasa yoga.
