Huawei has participated in numerous TCG (Trusted Computing Group) workgroups in the past, and today announced that it will be joining TCG's board to help drive international standards for a more secure computing future.

TCG is a not-for-profit organisation with more than 100 members. Composed of, component vendors, software developers, systems vendor, and drive makers.

TCG is promoting various broadly used specs which are applied to secure systems, products, and information, ranging from computers to ATMs, kiosks and cellular devices. The TPM 2.0 Collection Requirements are authorised like a conventional global standard under ISO/IEC (the International Business for Standardization and also the International Electrotechnical Commission).

Additional TCG specs include Reliable Network Communications for homes as well as system protection, encrypting drives that allow the always-on security of information in business devices, and hard drives.
