67 iPhones stolen from an Upper West Side New York store earlier this year, and again just recently a man dressed as an Apple store employee managed to take another 19 iPhones, a total of $16,000 from Apple's SoHo location, police said.

The suspects were familiar with the location and inner workings; walking directly to drawers where unlocked iPhones were being stored. Also, the man dressed similarly to the store employees — blue T-shirts printed with the Apple logo.

“The thief “dressed similarly” to store employees and walked right into an electronics repair room at about 5:30 p.m. on June 1"

Police are still investigating the incident but believe the two incidents are connected. Apple hasn't commented on the theft.
