SpaceX was once again successful!

SpaceX was once again successful!SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket has successfully delivered THAICOM 8, a commercial communications satellite for Thaicom - one of Asia’s leading satellite operators.

SpaceX launched the THAICOM 8 from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The satellite deployed about 32 minutes after liftoff.

Following stage separation, the first stage of Falcon 9 attempted an experimental landing. As with other missions going to geostationary orbits, the first-stage was subject to extreme velocities and re-entry heating, making a successful landing challenging. However, falcon 9 pulled through to make a successful landing.

It's great to see SpaceX with its "Young" crew - NASA having been the pioneers of space. These young SpaceX crews bring a renewed excitement into space launches that have not been there for years. Hopefully, the success and excitement of this program will bring the United States to launch its own Astronauts into space!

These successful landings are the necessary foundation to real space travel. From this achievement, rapid building of space projects can commence which will then, in turn, lead to more space milestones; if Elon Musk keeps this up, he'll have to increase his hanger size.
